Sosúa.— The mayor of Sosúa, Willfredo Olivences, together with councilors and Eng. Nolberto Mota, Director of Urban Planning, received this Thursday a group of foreign residents living in the municipality. During the meeting, the visitors shared a series of suggestions and requests with the aim of improving the quality of life of the international community in the area.
In an atmosphere of open and constructive dialogue, Mayor Olivences listened attentively to the proposals of foreign residents, highlighting the importance of maintaining constant communication between the municipal government and the community to resolve the challenges faced by citizens of various nationalities.
The municipal executive promised to analyze the requests made and to seek solutions that benefit both foreign residents and the community in general. “These types of meetings are essential to strengthen integration and collaboration between the different groups that make up our municipality,” said Olivences.
Some of the topics discussed included improvements in public services, security and opportunities for international residents to actively participate in community activities.
The mayor and councillors present were receptive to the proposals, stressing that the well-being of all Sosúa residents is a priority for the municipal administration.
This type of initiative demonstrates the local government's commitment to building a more inclusive community and sustainable development for all its inhabitants, regardless of origin.
