Junta de Vecinos La Mulata is a community organization with a territorial character that represents the people living in the same neighborhood and whose purpose is to promote community development, defend the interests and ensure the rights of all neighbors.
We are a registered neighborhood association. We can request our rights. We can express our and your wishes to the mayor, the city council and the government.
We have been successful! Our work so far:
The president of this republic, Mr. Abinader promised street lighting in March 2023 in La Mulata.
Asphalt is requested (and approved) for all of La Mulata.
We are solving our garbage problem. Garbage bins and signs in La Mulata are in process.
We also have cleaned La Mulata several times by private initiative and with the help of the city.
Our beautiful entrance was created by the junta and some local investors.
What is also very important is, we must make sure that our main street stays wide enough, because many more houses are being built now. So more traffic on the road.
We address noise pollution like party houses.
We are working on a traffic light at the entrance of La Mulata for easier access to the main road.
La Mulata is a residential urbanization and together we stand strong.
The board is committed, but to achieve everything we need your help. With the monthly money from all neighbors, we can accomplish a lot. For more info see the Contact Page.
