Terms of Service Acknowledgment
By submitting payment for any services provided by JD's Virtual Solutions llc—including but not limited to mobile and remote notary services, virtual assistant services, and certified translation services—you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the full Terms of Service outlined herein. These terms govern the scope, limitations, and responsibilities related to all services rendered. Please review them carefully before proceeding with payment, as your payment constitutes your informed consent to these terms in their entirety.
JD’s Virtual Solutions offers professional mobile and remote notary services, virtual assistant services, and certified translation services. The specific scope, deliverables, and deadlines for each service will be discussed and agreed upon prior to commencement, and will be clearly outlined within the service description of the invoice or payment form. Any additional services or changes requested after the initial agreement may be subject to additional fees and adjusted timelines. It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and timely information necessary to fulfill the agreed-upon services. JD’s Virtual Solutions reserves the right to decline services that fall outside of our professional scope, violate applicable laws, or compromise ethical standards.
I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey, and I do not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice.
This includes advising on the type of document you may need, how to fill it out, or the legal effect of signing a document.
All documents must be completed in full prior to notarization. If your document requires witnesses, it is your responsibility to provide them unless otherwise agreed upon.
Important: All documents must be signed in the physical presence of the notary unless you are using Remote Online Notarization (RON), in which case the signing will be witnessed via an approved electronic platform in compliance with New Jersey law.
By proceeding with notary services, you acknowledge that:
You understand that the notary’s duties include verifying your identity, witnessing your signature, and ensuring you are signing voluntarily and without coercion—but do not include providing legal advice or explaining your document’s contents.
You confirm that you have reviewed and understand the contents of your document prior to signing.
Your notarization will be securely recorded and stored either in a traditional notary journal (for in-person notarizations) or electronically (for RON notarizations), in accordance with New Jersey state law.
All payments made to JD’s Virtual Solutions are nonrefundable. By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms, which vary by service category:
Mobile Notary Services: A nonrefundable retainer is required to secure your appointment. This retainer will be applied to your final invoice. In the event of a no-show, cancellation, or failure to present required documents at the time of service, the retainer is forfeited. Clients are granted one opportunity to reschedule, provided notice is given at least 48 hours before the originally scheduled service time.
Certified Translation Services: Full payment is required upfront before any translation work will begin. Due to the customized and document-specific nature of translation services, all payments are nonrefundable, without exception. The service period begins once JD’s Virtual Solutions has received the client’s documents in legible, complete form. Any delays in providing accurate or complete materials may delay the project but will not qualify for a refund. Please ensure that your documents are final and correct before submission.
Virtual Assistant & Administrative Support Services: A 40% nonrefundable retainer is required to initiate services. This retainer secures your position in the service queue and covers preparatory administrative time. The remaining balance will be invoiced per the agreed-upon schedule. Payment plans may be discussed and must be confirmed in writing prior to commencement. No refunds will be issued for work performed, and failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
JD’s Virtual Solutions reserves the right to decline, cancel, or reschedule services at its discretion, with reasonable effort made to notify the client and offer an alternative arrangement where applicable.
JD’s Virtual Solutions guarantees that all notarizations are executed in accordance with New Jersey state laws and professional standards. While we cannot control how a third party (e.g., a bank, government agency, or institution) may choose to process or interpret your document, we do guarantee the accuracy and legality of our notarization process.
If a notarized document is rejected due solely to a verifiable error in the notarization performed by JD’s Virtual Solutions LLC, we will take full responsibility and offer one of the following remedies at no additional cost:
Redo the notarization (remotely or in person, as appropriate); or
Arrange and pay for a third-party notary to perform the notarization.
Clients must notify JD’s Virtual Solutions of such a rejection within 7 business days of notice and must provide documentation or written confirmation from the rejecting entity clearly stating that the notarization was the cause for non-acceptance.
JD’s Virtual Solutions respects and values the privacy and confidentiality of all client information. We commit to handling all client data, documents, and personal information with strict confidentiality and in compliance with applicable data protection laws. All information provided by the client will be used solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed services.
Where third-party services are engaged (e.g., subcontractors for translation), JD’s Virtual Solutions ensures that such parties are bound by confidentiality agreements to protect your sensitive information. We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect client data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, clients acknowledge that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and JD’s Virtual Solutions cannot guarantee absolute security.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JD’s Virtual Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
JD’s Virtual Solutions makes no warranties beyond those explicitly stated, and specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This is especially relevant to notarization services, where acceptance of notarized documents may be subject to the policies of third parties beyond JD’s Virtual Solutions’ control.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless JD’s Virtual Solutions from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the client’s misuse of services, submission of false or incomplete information, or violation of any applicable laws.
JD’s Virtual Solutions shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, power outages, internet failures, or other unforeseen events (“Force Majeure Events”).
In such cases, JD’s Virtual Solutions will notify the client promptly and work to reschedule or resume services as soon as practicable.
Either party may terminate the service agreement at any time with written notice. Upon termination by the client, all unpaid fees for services rendered up to the termination date remain due and payable. Retainers paid are nonrefundable as outlined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
JD’s Virtual Solutions reserves the right to terminate services immediately for cause, including but not limited to client breach of terms, nonpayment, or unethical behavior. Upon termination, JD’s Virtual Solutions will provide any completed deliverables to the client, but shall have no obligation to continue work or refund fees.
Clients agree that electronic communications, including emails, digital signatures, and electronic forms of consent, shall have the same legal effect and enforceability as traditional handwritten signatures and paper documents.
By submitting payment or electronically signing any agreement or form, the client consents to be bound by the terms of service and acknowledges that such electronic records constitute valid, binding contracts.
For services involving creation or translation of documents (including virtual assistant work involving original content or administrative materials), ownership of all deliverables and intellectual property rights shall transfer to the client upon full payment of all fees due.
JD’s Virtual Solutions retains the right to use work products for internal training, portfolio, or marketing purposes, provided that no confidential client information is disclosed. Clients shall not reproduce, distribute, or modify deliverables without prior written consent if such use violates any contractual or legal obligations.
