Dr. Jian-Da Lin received his Ph.D. in 2016 from Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, U.S.A., where he discovered a distinct role of type III interferon (IFN), (i.e. IFN-λs), compared to type I IFNs in intestinal immunity to rotavirus infection. He did his postdoctoral research at NYU School of Medicine and performed multi-disciplinary research, mainly on macrophages, bioinformatics, mechanisms of atherosclerosis, and the study of immune variations in rewilding mice. He continues to establish cutting-edge techniques such as high-parameter FACS analysis and CITE-seq as a Staff Scientist at NIAID, National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 2020. Then he joined the Department of Biochemical Science and Technology as Assistant Professor at NTU College of Life Science in 2021.

PhD Student:
Yu-Zhen received her M.S. from BST at National Taiwan University and won several awards, including a College Research Grant from MOST, Taiwan. Her goal is to apply big data analysis in the study of immunology. She works on project to interrogate the networks of different originated macrophages.
Master Students:
Jui-Chun received his B.S. from National Taiwan University and majored in Biochemical Science and Technology. He has intern experience at Katsura biological Corp.(財桂生物), engaging in the synthesis and coating of magnetic beads for nucleic acid extraction kit. He will be working on Single-Cell Technologies for immune cell profiling and handling the related bioinformatic pipelines.
Yun-Yi received her B.S. from National Taiwan University and majored in Biochemical Science and Technology. She will be working on Single-Cell and Spatial Technologies for immune cell profiling and handling the related bioinformatic pipelines.
Yi-Zhen received her B.S. from Tunghai University and majored in Life Science. She will be studying the interplays between helminth components, microbiome, immune cell subsets, and atherosclerosis progression.
Kai-Xin received her B.S. from Kaohsiung Medical University and majored in Fragrance and Cosmetic Science. She will be studying the interplays between helminth components, microbiome, macrophages, and CVD progression.
Chiao-Yun received her B.S. from National Chiayi University and majored in Biochemical Science and Technology. She will be studying the interplays between PRR, microbiome, macrophages, and CVD progression.
