The added complexities and required problem solving of shooting on location haven't stopped Jay from doing it. On the contrary, they often open opportunities in which he uses to make images more captivating and which tell a deeper story. Getting to know the people he is photographing is one of Jay's favourite parts of portraiture. This often means a location that is special to them. If you have a story to tell, and a place you hold dear, make sure to mention it if you want to be one of his subjects.
