Global group project

Description

My partner and I had to conduct research on two separate countries for this project and then make a PowerPoint presentation that highlighted their similarities and differences. My partner selected South Africa, while I went with Saudi Arabia. One intriguing thing I discovered about Saudi Arabia was how quickly technology was developing and how simple it was to access the internet. Also, I found it interesting to know that there are twelve official languages in South Africa.

99% of people had internet access. Saudi Arabia's internet penetration rate is anticipated to stay at 98% in 2024 and 2029.

Lesson Learned

I gained knowledge about using the CCBC library resources for research as well as creating PowerPoint animations. I even asked a CCBC librarian for assistance in locating sources, which helped a lot. My partner and I collaborated in a variety of ways. Through the discussion, I was able to get her phone number and WhatsApp her. We completed the project together on call. We even used Outlook to share our PowerPoint presentations and send emails to one another. Overall, this was an educational experience for me as I became more at ease using PowerPoint and doing research.
