Sant Llorenç de Morunys growth strata

The Sant Llorenç de Morunys growth strata is one of the best examples worldwide providing continuous outcrop of a more than one kilometre thick growth strata unit. In this regional cross-section the growth strata unit is both transported on the South Pyrenean blind frontal thrust whereas its upper section constituted deposited along the NE flank of the Puig-reig anticline.
