Session Overview
This student self-guided activity enables students to practice what they have learned about investing as they research, select, and track real stocks on the
stock market using an initial imaginary investment of $10,000. This activity has no time limit, and students may track and adjust their portfolios for as long as they’d like. You might want to set time parameters on this project, such as a month, six weeks, or some other period of time that makes sense for students to be able to track their portfolios.
Students create a stock portfolio and then track and adjust their investments over time.

Volunteer and Educator Materials
Before the session, do the following:
Preview the Online Session, including any videos and websites.
Determine how best to organize students to complete the extension (independent, small groups, station rotation, flipped classroom model, whole class, etc.)
The online session is designed for student direct access and includes interactive features. If you intend to project the online session on a screen, practice navigating and using the interactive features.
