This 15-minute, student self-guided activity focuses on the role that risk plays in affecting investors’ decisions and how savvy investors seek to minimize risk.
Objectives for this session:
Students learn that, even though individual investors may have different risk tolerances, smart investors always seek to minimize their risk by diversifying their portfolios.

Before the session, do the following:

Determine how best to organize students to complete the extension (independent, small groups, station rotation, flipped classroom model, whole class, etc.)
