I am a master’s student in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Growing up, I noticed a big difference in how my parents approached their work—one was excited and fulfilled by their job, while the other went through the motions, viewing work as routine and unremarkable. These early experiences, combined with noticing similar patterns in friends pursuing unfulfilling careers, sparked my interest in understanding what makes work meaningful and engaging, leading me to pursue I-O psychology, where I aim to help organizations create environments where both employees and businesses thrive. Outside of academics, I enjoy running marathons, traveling, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and playing tennis. I am always eager to bring my curiosity and energy to challenges that make a positive impact in the workplace.
Through my advanced training in I-O Psychology, I am in the process of gaining mastery in the four core areas below. Click on the areas of competency to see some of my work in these areas.
