I began my journey in the office as an intern immediately after completing my audit internship. I consider myself fortunate to have had a boss who was willing to provide me with the opportunity to work on projects aligned with my passion. Following my internship, my boss continued my employment on a part-time basis and eventually transitioned me into a full-time role upon my graduation.
Working in a political office has been a unique experience, quite distinct from what I initially imagined. I have been responsible for gathering resources and spearheading community projects and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of individuals within the community. It has been a fulfilling role, allowing me to make a positive impact and contribute to the betterment of society.
Festival Events
Within a short timeframe, I had led a team in developing event plan that adhered to the Covid-19 Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
During the organization of our event, we faced significant changes in the SOP for public gatherings due to the prevailing Covid-19 cases.
Despite these challenges, our team successfully adapted and ensured compliance with the updated SOP, ensuring the safety of all attendees.
As the main person in charge of the decoration team for the Mid-Autumn Festival, I took on the challenge of working within a limited budget.
Despite the constraints, I utilized my creativity to design a visually captivating layout and made the most of the existing resources available.
By maximizing the visual impact to create a memorable and immersive experience for all attendees.
As the project manager of the program, I had the privilege of overseeing the planning and execution of a grand Christmas celebration attended by 1000 individuals.
Collaborating closely with my team, we meticulously coordinated every aspect of the event, including logistics, activities, decorations, performances, and catering.
We successfully ensured that every element of the celebration was well-covered, creating a memorable and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Community Initiatives and Sustainable Initiatives
This program was designed with the aim of reducing the consumption of single-use plastic in the form of take-away drinks from local coffee shops and restaurants. I took on the responsibility of managing the entire process, from initial planning to execution. This included designing a reusable cup and persuading various coffee shops to participate in the initiative.
Within just one week of launching the program, we were thrilled to see that 25% of our key performance indicators (KPIs) had already been achieved. It was encouraging to witness people embracing the use of reusable cups for their take-away drinks at the coffee shops we collaborated with.

The primary objective of this program is to offer a convenient and proper solution for the community to dispose of their e-waste. I was co-leading this initiative alongside my colleague, taking charge of various responsibilities within the program.
Specifically, my role involves overseeing the design of the e-waste bins, sourcing suitable suppliers for the bins, and facilitating communication and coordination with the e-waste vendor/bins location provider.

The bi-weekly karaoke session is organized with the aim of providing a leisure space for senior citizens to come together, build bonds, and spend quality time with their friends. This initiative recognizes the importance of social connections and the positive impact they have on the well-being of senior citizens.
In this digital era, I have taken the initiative to organize and teach senior citizens how to use smartphones.
Given that smartphones have become an integral part of our daily lives, it is important for senior citizens to acquire the necessary knowledge to utilize certain functions of smartphones and stay connected to society.
