Hello and welcome back to my cooking blog! Today, I'm sharing a recipe for delicious and tangy sourdough bread. But before we get to the recipe, I have another wild story to tell. Yeah, yeah, I know! 'Get on with the recipe' you say, but whatever.

My great-aunt was a bit of a wild one. She was always up for an adventure, and she never let anything stand in her way. And one of her most memorable adventures was the time she stole a spaceship. Well, I suppose you could say she borrowed it.

It all started on a beautiful summer day when my great-aunt was out for a walk. As she was strolling through the park-or, it might have been a mall-she noticed a strange spaceship parked on the grass. The spaceship had a strange symbol on it, and it seemed to glow with a floresent, otherworldly light. Mushroom-like formations grew on the spaceship, protecting the inside from whatever might have harmed it. It was, without a doubt, alien.

Without hesitation, my great-aunt climbed into the spaceship and fired up the engines. She soared into the sky, leaving the stunned park-goers below in her wake. Or mall-goers.

As she flew through the clouds, my great-aunt felt a rush of excitement. She had always dreamed of traveling through space, and now she was finally living out her dream. But, she couldn't help but ask the question...whose spaceship did she steal? Would they return for it later? And what was the spaceship doing on earth?

She flew for hours, marveling at the beauty of the stars and the planets. And when she came across a planet with three moons and an ocean of lava, she was-well, that's a story for another time! I know lengthy blog posts before recipes can be annoying at times, but sometimes I get bored while waiting for my bread to bake! Speaking of which, this sourdough bread is fantastic!

Now, on to the recipe! You'll need:

In a large bowl, combine the sourdough starter, flour, salt, and warm water. Stir until a sticky dough forms. Cover the bowl with a towel and let it sit in a warm place for 8-12 hours, or until the dough has doubled in size.

After the dough has risen, preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Gently shape the dough into a loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the sourdough bread for 30-40 minutes, or until it is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped. Let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and enjoying.

Serve the sourdough bread warm, with a generous smear of butter and a sprinkle of sea salt. Enjoy, and remember, the galaxy is yours to explore!

(And if you ever see my great-aunt, tell her that I want my spaceship back)
