My Own Design, A costume Ant could have wore on tour in 1981.
The brief of this project was to produce seven designs for an imagined film biopic centered on the life of Adam Ant. Five of these illustrations where costumes Adam Ant really wore which I researched and then illustrated. One was a costume I designed myself based on my research and sketches, and one was a costume of Jordan who was the band manager and girlfriend of Adam Ant for a period of time in the late 70s. I then picked one of my designs to make, which ended up being the design I created based on Adam Ant.

Overall, I was very proud of how this project turned out, I really expanded my skills my tailoring using velvet and I think the result was definitely worth it. This was also my first time 3D printing which I did to create the shoulder pads, so that's a new skill I would like to expand upon in the future.
