I have recently graduated from Nottingham Trent’s course in Costume Design and Construction. Over my three years there, I expanded my skills in both design and making, although I lean towards enjoying making the most. I have a passion for tailoring, both historical and modern-day. Constructing elegant, detailed and gothic costume is one of my big passions, and I have strengths in working with difficult fabrics such as leather, velvet and PVC. I also enjoy the finer details such as embroidery, beading and adding braiding and metal hard wear to my costumes. One new skill I developed is modelling and making 3D print pieces to add an extra 3D element to my projects.
