Principles of Macroeconomics

Course Overview

Econ 1510 is a rigorous, applied introduction to macroeconomics. Students learn macroeconomics through evaluating contemporary policy issues and engaging in debate with peers. This course requires students to think critically about the efficacy of policies and the incentives driving them. This course covers economic organization, market & government failures, aggregate measurement, business cycles, selected growth & development topics, and policy tools (monetary & fiscal).
