Teaching Philosophy & Resources

My favorite thing about economics is the perspective it gave me to view the world. I try to share this perspective with my students by teaching through current & historical events. Some academic work is unavoidable in college (go figure). But, for the most part, I try to encourage and incorporate live discussions, debate, media sources, and practical application wherever I can in my courses. I like to believe this approach makes the next generation of voters & consumers better prepared and more informed.
