You can Download all Blender Renders that you see on this website in the "Downloadable Blender Files Tab" For free.
If you right click and press "Open image in new Tab" you can see the image better and up close
Simple Car
This car was made using different shapes and techniques. I used Cubes and Cylinders by pressing shift A and moving them around to create the tires and body. I then rotated them using the rotation tool (which is on the side of the blender page) so I could make it look good. I then moved the shapes so They wouldn't be in the same place and then finally I Resized and shrunk the shapes so the car would look good.
Chess Piece: Pawn
This simple Pawn chess piece was a simple project where I used the Extrude Scale and Inset tools. I start from a normal 12 face Cylinder and used I to move the lines in then E to move up and S to change how big the lines are (if my words are to confusing go to the "Tutorial links" page for the video). I did this process until I had made a pawn from chess.
3 Point lighting
This is 3 Point lighting, a process that uses 3 lights to show an object rather than one light shining one direction to show off the 3D shape of the object. To make this you need a very bright light one medium lit light and one dim light. Place the bright light behind the object your doing then the medium light in front but to the side a little then the dim light next to the dark shadows to eliminate the dark parts abit.
Image/Color/Glass Materials
This simple scene was made using some image texturing where you take any image you want from the internet and then go to the shaders tab and make a new texture then add the image to one of the tabs there. The glass is simple where you just need to make it into a transparent object but don't make it a cube because that will make it harder to see. I then made a "wooden" imaged textured platform for the objects to sit on. This project took a long time to render and most times it crashed the Mac until I deleted most of the Textured objects.
Airplane
This airplane was very simple to make, first I took a cylinder and cut it in half down the middle and then used the Mirror modifier to make it so when I do something to the right side It will copy that movement or edit and put it on the left side creating a nice symmetrical object. I then used the cut tool In edit mode to cut a piece in the plane and extrude the windows, doors, wings and tail wing (there are better ways to make windows like this like the Boolean Modifier to cut into the shape with another shape). I then kept being in edit mode and added shapes to make the engines (there is also a better way to do this by not doing in in edit mode but creating a separate engine and then pressing CTRL+J or CMD+J to make them one object).
Procedural Abstract Materials
the kinds of Materials are NOT like the image or color materials where you only have to add a image or assign a color to a face but instead you have to go into the sharers tab and use Geometry Nodes to give a certain texture. But if you use a Procedural Material and go into the solid mode you will see that what ever you put the material on, the shape will not have changed. This is because PAM's are for looks and do not alter the shape of the 3D object that you are using it on, it only makes it look 3D for some like the blue waves or purple cracks but for others it looks like the shape has not been alterd. This is because how you can set up the Geometry nodes in the Shaders tab
Tetris Scene
This scene of Teteris was made during my free time when I was ahead of the class. For this scene I used a cube and then used the Subdivision Surface Modifier to give the Tetrominos their iconic look. I then assigned the cubes a color and built the 7 Tetrominos in a separate space from the "playing area" so I could copy and paste them. I then Used the snap tool so the Tetrominos would be perfectly aligned. I then finished the Scene until I felt happy about it.
