Arc Reactor

INSPIRATION

I was inspired to make this arc reactor after I watched "Avengers End Game". I had a shirt that lit up already but it was not bright enough for me. also, I was limited to wearing that shirt with the arc reactor. So using that inspiration I set out to make a Iron Man 2 inspired chest mounted arc reactor.

Design

I designed the whole thing in Autodesk Inventor the day after I saw End Game. It was designed to be completely self contained within the chest piece. It straps onto my chest with some elastic strapping to attach the chest piece. I had to make a cardboard mock up to check the angle of the straps.

POSSIBLE Improvements

make it even brighter
paint it not the inverse (i realized this mistake a little bit after wearing it a few times)
make his original arc reactor to have a second version

make the strap pieces attachment thicker
