An organization is successful when all parts, no matter how big or small, work together to achieve greatness. It is because of YOU and YOUR Help the Jaguar Pride Marching Band is successful. Your support is always needed and appreciated.
Throughout the year, there are great ways to help your child and the Jaguar Pride out. Whether it is feeding the kids or cheering on the band during performances, you possess a talent that the Jaguar Pride Boosters needs. If your in the stands or waiting in your car and see us pushing or unloading equipment or getting the students ready to perform, feel free to jump on in and ask what you can help with. Any and all help will be needed and greatly appreciated.
Often, there is not enough time for students to SAFELY leave campus after school, grab a bite to eat then return to school on time and prepare to perform. Because of this, before most home football games the Jaguar Pride Boosters feed the kids.
Help is also needed at Band Camp to help serve dinner to the kids.

Each group will be assigned a game date to donate items. However, anyone can sign up to donate items anytime.
We are asking when it’s your time to supply an item for game day dinner, to please sign up and drop off your item by 3:30 on game day or anytime before Thursday if non-perishable. Items can be dropped off at the Band Room. Snacks are always needed to get through rehearsals and competitions. Snacks can be dropped off anytime during the season. Thank You!
Volunteers are needed to run our Band Table during all home football games. We will be set up right next to the band at the south end of stands where the band plays. We will be selling water, cotton candy, spirit gear and an assortment of products.
The Jaguar Pride Marching Band performs throughout the valley in various ABODA, AZMBA, and WGAZ sanctioned competitions and at all home football games. We are always needing help before, during, and after each competition and games, passing out uniforms, loading and unloading equipment, driving trailer or U-Haul to and from competitions, and moving props on and off the field, setting up banners and water jugs for home football games.
If you are interested in helping out please find the sign up links in the links tab or in the Volunteer Opportunities tab!
The following is a collection of the primary events and support roles that the Band Boosters provide to the Band Program at Canyon View, but it is not meant to be an exhaustive or comprehensive list. These are the tasks we do all the time and need volunteers to keep the bands working and moving forward.
Since High School is a 4-year endeavor for the average band member, the turnover in volunteer support is high, so it is vital that we keep new blood coming in for all the upcoming senior parents and volunteers that move on every year. Please read over all the many opportunities you have to contribute to – time commitments range from a few hours at one event all the way up to a year-long commitment to support a particular service we provide.
Anything you can contribute is welcome.
Thank you so much for your willingness to help!
