This prop was made for a Prop Design class in my first year studying game art.I came up with the idea of this backpack and the little trinkets like the bug light and leaf pouches by building a world in which these items could be used.
Modeling
I began building my prop with a simple blockout in Blender. After I was happy with how it looked I began giving it a little more detail and adding some base colours so I could see if everything was working together. For this assignment we got to learn sculpting so after making the low poly blockout I had to make the prop high poly so I would have enough vertices to work with while sculpting.
Sculpting
With the high poly version I could import the model into Zbrushand begin my sculpting! After sculpting came texturing, I added the textures and colours with Adobe Substance PainterThe next 2 image carrousels show the backpack after sculpting and texturing.

Retopology
To get my Sculpted high poly model (with all the textures) working in a game engine I made a low poly retopo version and baked my textures into the model using Blender.(I'm hoping to clean up or remake the topology of this model since this model was made in my first year and I've since learned more about topology and optimisation)
