My research aims to enhance the agility, adaptability, and precision of legged robots by leveraging trajectory optimization, optimal control, and reinforcement learning to develop a control framework that fully exploits the hardware’s capabilities for locomotion and loco-manipulation.
I am currently working as a Research Scientist at the Humanoid Robotics Laboratory, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), under the supervision of Dr. Yonghwan Oh. I received my M.S. degree in Interdisciplinary Robot Systems from Hanyang University, Republic of Korea, in 2025, advised by Prof. Wansoo Kim, and my B.S. degree in Robotics Engineering from Hanyang University, Ansan, Republic of Korea, in 2023.
