Objective:
Create a movie poster without featuring a person and conveying a specific theme

Process:
For this project, I was inspired by a childhood Monster High character who metaphorically collected the hearts of all the girls he had dated after breaking their hearts. I re-imagined this concept with a darker, more intense slasher movie approach. Focusing on the unsettling idea of someone literally collecting hearts, I incorporated eerie, menacing visuals to enhance the horror elements. My goal was to create a chilling atmosphere, blending the nostalgic playfulness of the cartoon with a sinister twist. I used dark, moody lighting, blood-red accents, and haunting imagery to build tension and evoke fear. The result is a visually striking narrative that captures the darker side of the metaphor in a thrilling, horrifying way, which I successfully achieved.
