As you can see the shape is slightly different. I had made a huge mistake of confusing what was air and what was metal. So I made some changes to the shape to make sure that it would work properly when I went to cut it on the machine.
After I fixed my mistake I set up the correct toolpaths and ran the simulation.

First I started in auto cad then moved to fusion 360 to make the tool path so the plasma cutter know what its doing.
This is the tool path simulation showing how it will cut the metal.
