CO2 Laser Engraver/Cutter

CO2 CNC Lasers work by bouncing light emissions back and forth between mirrors on an XYZ axis until the beam passes through a special lens at the tip of the router head. Types of cutting material can range from thin plywood, acrylic and cardboard.

First cut

This is my first cut. Everything was supposed to be a scan and not a cut but it still worked out.

Second cut

This is my second cut. This cut came out nearly perfect, The only thing I would change is how the "A" is completely cut out.

Cardboard box

I used makercase.com to get the plans for the box and cut it out with the machine. After each piece was cut out I put them together using the fingers on the cardboard and hot glue.
