Membership

The membership is Free for members and pledgers. Other's charge hundreds of dollars for each of the courses. We offer them free to you. We just ask that you participate, learn, and commit to the training. Since we are creating a brotherhood/sisterhood, one of the most important things hold strongly is Trust. This group is here for you and your family to teach skills and techniques that are needed to survive as a group. Trust is a the key. The way you build trust is by applying core values and we use a modified Army Core Values to help guide us in the right direction .

Our Core Values are:

LOYALTY

Bear true faith and allegiance to the U.S. Constitution ,the Team, and your unit. Bearing true faith and allegiance is a matter of believing in and devoting yourself to something or someone. A loyal member is one who supports the leadership and stands up for fellow members.

Fulfill your obligations. Doing your duty means more than carrying out your assigned tasks. Duty means being able to accomplish tasks as part of a team.

RESPECT

Treat people as they should be treated. In the Soldier’s Code, we pledge to “treat others with dignity and respect while expecting others to do the same.” Self-respect is a vital ingredient with the group value of respect, which results from knowing you have put forth your best effort. The Jackal Tactical Survival Group is one team and each of us has something to contribute.

SELFLESS SERVICE

Put the welfare of the group, families, state, and your subordinates before your own. Selfless service is larger than just one person. In serving your group, you are doing your duty loyally without thought of recognition or gain. The basic building block of selfless service is the commitment of each team member to go a little further, endure a little longer, and look a little closer to see how he or she can add to the effort.

HONOR

Honor is a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, selfless service, integrity and personal courage in everything you do.

INTEGRITY

Do what’s right, legally and morally. Integrity is a quality you develop by adhering to moral principles. It requires that you do and say nothing that deceives others. As your integrity grows, so does the trust others place in you. The more choices you make based on integrity, the more this highly prized value will affect your relationships with family and friends, and, finally, the fundamental acceptance of yourself.

PERSONAL COURAGE

Face fear, danger or adversity (physical or moral). Personal courage has long been associated with our group. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical duress and at times risking personal safety. Facing moral fear or adversity may be a long, slow process of continuing forward on the right path, especially if taking those actions is not popular with others. You can build your personal courage by daily standing up for and acting upon the things that you know are honorable.

Becoming a Member:

The core values help guide us in the right direction as well as the Constitution of the United States of America.

To be a member of this group, you must hold at all times the highest standard of integrity and respect for one another. You must show up to training and our camping overnight camping events (accused leave from training will be coordinated with your team leader not less than 48 hours (unless of an emergency) . Training is very important as it provides skills needed to work within the group, offer ideas, build the teams, and provides the time needed to build a bond between each other. No illegal actives nor talk about such actives will be tolerated. We follow all laws of the State of Georgia, Federal Laws, and the Constitution of America. Communication with our team/group is also critical as training info, alerts, and events will be scheduled or drills will be ran. It is your responsibility to keep in contact with your team leader.

Everyone that comes in new, starts as a pledger to the group. You must complete most trainings and 2 overnight/weekend camping events, as well as skills needed to become eligible to be called a member.

We have different levels of skills that each member will get. Once you complete a level, you will be tested on the skills. If you complete your skill sets, with a satisfactory score, you will be eligible to advance to the next level. If you have skill sets from past military, law enforcement, or first responder, your skills will be assessed and you will be placed accordingly.

There is no dues, fees, or cost that we collect to be part of the group. However, we do accept donations for the group, with no specific amounts, to reserve experts, gear for the group, or training locations. Before we reserve anything, we talk as a group and vote on it. You are under no obligation at any time to donate any money for anything. You are however responsible for your own gear, supplies, and anything you want for your person or family.

Team Leaders have jobs outside of the group and it usually takes about 48-72 hours to put a training package together. So, you need to show up for training or the training plan will not work and you hurt your fellow members.

If you miss to many training events you will be dropped from the group. This group is so that you have people you can trust and rely on when you need them. Missing training means you miss skills that are needed to help your fellow members and it becomes a liability to the group. Any missed training must be made up. You will have to talk with your Team Leader to make arrangements as needed.

So if you are interested in joining a group of people that will be there for you, teach you skills that could safe your life, and have group of guys and gals to share in a friendship/ brotherhood/sisterhood with, then look at our contact page and send us an email.
