In July of 2023, I was a part of the Visual Immersive art program of Lynx Camps, a pre-college experience with a focus on the arts located on the CU Denver campus. For a little over two weeks, I worked with a group of 20 other students exploring Denver's art scene. We got a behind-the-scenes tour of Meow Wolf, visited multiple museums, talked to working artists, and had the opportunity to display our stop-motion animations on the Clock Tower downtown. Every few days came with a new medium and a new skill to learn and practice, and our final product was a group-made immersive landscape featuring 3D and 2D artwork, soundscapes, and video projection.
