IWSDS 2023 will be held at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies (ICT) in Playa Vista, a neighborhood of Los Angeles that is close to the airport and about 3 miles from the beach: 12015 Waterfront Drive, Playa Vista, CA 90094-2536.

The most convenient airport to the conference venue is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), offering non-stop connections throughout North America as well as to South America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

The best rates are usually for hotels near LAX Airport; the downside of these hotels is their environment (an airport). While LAX is only a few miles from ICT, morning or afternoon traffic can make the ride pretty long (up to half an hour).
