MODULE 5
THEORIES AND PRINCIPLES IN THE USE AND DESIGN OF TECHNOLOGY DRIVEN LESSONS.
LESSON 1:Edgar Dale's cone of experience
LESSON 2: TPACK as a framework for Technology-driven teaching and learning
LESSON 3: The ASSURE model
LESSON 4: Models of Technology-Enhanced instructional lessons
How teachers integrate technology into teaching and learning depends largely on their different beliefs about human learning. TPACK is a framework that integrates three domains of teacher knowledge: technological knowledge, content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge. The frameworks in these fields show knowledge and learning communication tools, collaborative learners are engaged and learn better when they choose the right way to use these right tools.
Thinking about theorists and principles in lessons with technology shows how important it is to match educational ideas with using technology. Using interactive tools and working together online makes learning fun. but it can be hard to make sure the technology fits with how we teach and keeps students interested. Teachers need to keep trying different ways to use technology to help students learn better.
