Issues after password change (Windows)
If you are on a Windows computer and change your password then discover you are unable to print.
Open Windows Explorer (the folder icon in your taskbar or right-click your “start button” and choose Windows Explorer)
In the address bar type: \\print-server
When this launches it should prompt you for your password
Enter your Centre College username like this: centre\first.last and your password
Check the box “remember my credentials“
When the window opens you should now be able to right-click Campus Queue Lexmark and connect
Hold for authentication error (Mac)
Macs use a “keychain” to store login information for faster access. When you change your Centre network password, the keychain must be updated with the new password manually. Below are the two steps to fix this issue:
Step 1: Clear pending print jobs:
Go to System Preferences
Open Printers and Scanners
Select Open Print Queue
Clear any held jobs by clicking the X beside the print job
Step 2: Update your stored credentials
Click anywhere on the desktop (This will cause the main menu to be displayed)
Click GO
Select Connect to Server
Enter smb://print-server
Click Connect
When prompted, enter your Centre username and password
Select “Remember this password in my keychain”
You should now be able to print until the next time you change your password!

Print by email
Papercut gives you the option to print by sending an email to a specific address. Print to email accepts the same formats that Web Print works with (Microsoft Office document formats, PDFs, and most image file types).
NOTE: Print to emails does not print the email itself, it only prints the attachments. If you want to print the entire email, you should save it as a PDF, then follow the steps below.
Create a new email in your email program or app.
Set the To: address to campusprinter@centre.edu
Attach the file you want printed (no subject is needed.)
Send the message.
You will get a confirmation email from Papercut.
Log into the Centre College printer you would like to use.
Touch the Release Print icon
Select the file to print.
