In CentreNet, using the option in the Class List portlet to “Email All Students” AND attaching a file that has a filename that includes (?,!,#,$, %, ^, &, as well as Greek Letters), will prevent ALL email from being sent from CentreNet.
Pay close attention to the file name when using the Centrenet native email client; otherwise your email will not go through and will clog the email queue and stop all email sent from CentreNet.
View one of the options below for the best way to send an email to your class.
Option 1
From Centrenet < My Services tab
Choose the MY LINKS portlet < Class Info group of links
The “Class List (Printer Friendly)” option also has an option to email an entire class.
After choosing a Session, Year and Course, click “View Report”.
This option does not use the native Centrenet email client but instead opens Outlook (assuming that is the email client you are using on your computer). This method allows email to bypass the Centrenet email queues.

Option 2
From CentreNet, click the My Services tab
Choose the Faculty page < Class List portlet and the Class List (Full Version) are the same portlet. See image below.
Either is fine to use, just watch the file names for attachments.
