There are different types of anxiety disorders.
Generalized anxiety disorder is a permanent state of anxiety and excessive worry, lasting at least six months. It is an enormous concern that affects all aspects of professional, family, emotional and social life.
Panic attack is the sudden appearance of an intense fear, a feeling of death or imminent catastrophe, in a situation in which there is no real danger. It can last about 30 minutes.
Phobia is an irrational, intense and specific fear of a particular object or situation. It can be fear of certain animals or objects, of altitude, of closed places, of crowds, etc.
