Dear Students
Student who meets the eligible criteria may apply for bursary and receive ONE bursary in each academic year of study.
TO NOTE (IMPORTANT) : ITE will be onboarding HOMES (Household Means Eligibility System) from 1 Apr 2026. With this implementation, students will no longer need to submit income documents during the bursary application process. Instead, applications will be automatically means-tested under HOMES to determine eligibility for the appropriate bursary type and amount. HOMES retrieves household income information from government data sources (e.g. CPFB, IRAS, ICA) and applies an algorithm to determine the most appropriate income source. No further documents will be required. There will be no manual computation by ITE.
Past applications for 2026 will be processed as usual until 13 March 2026. Applications that are still pending document submission after this date will be automatically included and processed under HOMES from 13 March 2026 onwards under phase 2.
Please note that you DO NOT need to resubmit the bursary application. If you were awarded a bursary in the 1st year of study, you will be auto-awarded the bursary in the 2nd/3rd year of the same course of study, except for Diploma students. Please note the the award quantum will be subjected to annual income review under HOMES.
Please refer to the information below on criteria and application procedures, or SOS at this Site on how to solve commonly faced issue when applying for bursary.
