If you are flying into Cork Airport, there should be ample taxis available on the taxi rank to take you to your accommodation or to UCC. There are also bus services to the city centre which leave from outside the terminal building.
By bus: 226 to South Mall walk 5 minutes then get 220 or 208 to UCC ( Cost estimated ≈ 4€ ), only cash or Leap card accepted onboard.
By taxi: Some names and numbers are, Satellite Taxis 00353-21-480 8080; ABC Cabs 00353-21- 4961961; Cork Taxi Co-Op 00353-21-4272222 (Cost estimated ≈ 30€).
Uber and Freenow taxi apps are also avilable (Cost estimated ≈ 30-40€ depending on the fare).
If you are flying into Dublin Airport and travelling on to Cork, we recommend taking an Aircoach or Irish Citylink from outside the Arrivals hall at the airport. Tickets (single or return) can be pre-booked, selecting Dublin Airport as point of origin and Cork Lower Glanmire Road as the destination. The drop-off point is right in the city Centre in Cork (but not the main bus depot), (cost estimated price single ≈ 22€, return ≈ 33 €).
By bus: 208 is 5 minutes walk from the arrival destination to UCC ( Cost estimated ≈ 2€ ), only cash or Leap card accepted onboard.

If you are flying into Shannon Airport and travelling on to Cork, we recommend taking the Expressway from outside the Arrivals hall at the airport or can be prebooked online.
Tickets (single or return) can be pre-booked, selecting Shannon Airport as point of origin and Cork (Bus Station - Parnell Place) as the destination (cost estimated price single ≈ 23€, return ≈ 36 €), walk 7 minutes to St. Patrick Street then take 208 bus directly to UCC.
Alternatively you can travel by train from Heuston station Dublin to Kent station Cork city tickets can be booked online through Irish Rail. Tickets (single or return) can be pre-booked, selecting Dublin, Heuston as point of origin and Cork, Kent (cost estimated price single ≈ 32.99€, return ≈ 65.98 €)
The train station in Cork is a little out from the city centre but there are taxis available at the rank and the 205 city bus service runs from the station through the city to UCC via the Western Road, where many of the hotel/guesthouses are located.
