The plan was to make a tight 6-day run from Velodrom (Helsinki) to Utsjoki (Lapland) and back to 2700 km in 2017. However, this did not take place for various reasons. Fitness has been maintained with light training, but no really co-ordinated training has been implemented.
One reason has been the problems (L5-S1) between the lower back disks and the emergence of severe back pain. The self-analysis has been that the hard middle-body workouts have not been done and the coming muscle tissue is no longer in the same condition as in previous years.
