The Association sponsors an annual convention for all ISMA members, Hosted by a different local lodge each winter. Activities include meetings, business luncheons, theme dinners, social and excursions around the convention city.
The highlight of each convention is the impressive Grand Lodge Officer Induction Ceremony followed by the formal Ship Masters' Grand Ball.
Feb. 2-4, 2018 Toledo Lodge #9 hosted @ the National Museum of the Great Lakes and ship Col James M Schoonmaker and Accomodations at the Renaissance Downtown Toledo Hotel.
