Adding and Managing Favorites
To add a favorite page simply click the star located at the top right of your screen, it is within the address bar.Â
Choose either "Add bookmark" or "Add to reading list." You may modify the name.
Managed bookmarks will appear underneath the address bar, materials in the reading list will appear under "Reading list" on the top right.
Delete items by right click and delete (bookmark) or clicking the "x" (reading list).
Adding and Switching Accounts
Use the icon at the top right of your screen to add and manage multiple Google accounts.
Grouping and Pinning Tabs
To pin a tab simply right click the tab and choose "pin." It will appear in the far-left corner.
To group tabs right click a tab and choose "Add tab to a new group" and choose the desired color. You can now either add more tabs to this group or make a new group.
Manage Extensions
Extensions for district devices are set up after a review process. Anyone looking for access to extensions either needs to have them installed on their personal account or submit a request through the technology department.
To view the extensions on your device simply click the puzzle piece in the upper righthand corner.
Customize the Waffle
The waffle is your quick access to Google's most helpful tools. Simply click the dot grid in the top right of the Google home screen to see a display of all the links. To rearrange them simply click and drag to the desired order.
Be aware that the waffle only displays on the homepage and google suite sites, it disappears on other webpages.
Clear Browser Data
Open Google Chrome.
Click the ellipsis in the top right corner and go to Settings.
In the Settings search bar type in "Cookies."
Choose "Clear browsing data."
In Basic, make sure all the boxes are checked and set the time range to "all time."
Click "clear data" and restart Chrome.
