The first record was of one shot at Berwick-0n-Tweed during October 1883, followed by three individuals in September 1922 and two individuals in October 1924. Another two occurred in September 1925 with a single at Boulmer in October 1928. Twenty-one years lapsed before the next indivuduals, two during the autumn of 1949.
The earliest spring individual was 7th May 1970 and the latest was 27th June 1957. Autumn occurrences are from 14th August (1985) to 18th November (1984) with just seven during August, 145 in September and 138 in October with nine late arrivals during November.
The records were discontinued at the end of 2009, so that is the point the graphs finish.
