[Herbivore Rules]

1. Claim Depletable Water

Herbivores may claim a depletable water source as long as they have 3 adults (0.8+) within the herd. They may defend this source from other herds and carnivores. This means you don't have to allow anyone outside your group to drink and they cannot drink without the herd allowing them. Drinking without permission from the herd can be considered a sign of aggression and they may attack you after multiple 3 calls and warning you in local chat

2. Claim Nesting Grounds

When nesting grounds are placed next to water it cannot be used as an excuse to claim said water source. This means if you choose to nest at a water source you may not force dinos away that have come to drink unless they become aggressive. This rule can be ignored if you have 3 adult herbis in your herd and are claiming a depletable water source. (see rule 1)

3. Territory Challenge

Herbivores may challenge other herds for territories and nesting areas. To initiate the rival herd must 3 call. The defending herd has 2 choices, 3 call back and fight, or 2, 4, or 5 call and leave. A contest is over when a body drops. Any omnivore in the herd may claim the gore until challenged by a carnivore/omnivore pack. After a herd surrenders they may not return for the next 2 hours to recontest.

4. Personal Space Aggression

Herbivores are allowed to be aggressive if you get within their personal space (Two 1.2 rex lengths). If you are 3 called 3 times and are warned in local but choose not to leave the herbivores have the right to engage in combat. The herbivores may only chase for 1 minute or until the offender leaves line of sight/render. This can be ignored if the offender chooses to fight back.

5. Nest Aggression

Herbivores may be aggressive to anyone who comes near their nest. After warning said player(s) away they may attack if they do not leave. You must warn with 2 or more 3 calls and in local chat before attacking.

6. NO Corpse Guarding

Herbivores may not corpse guard. If a carnivore comes to claim a gore you must let them. If the gore is near your herd an admin may be asked to move it if the carnivores cannot move it on their own or if no carnivore claims it.

7. Para Z Call

Once a fight has ended paras may not Z call the fleeing rivals whether they are eating a gore or are in the process of leaving the area.

8. No Intim Bombing

Herbivores may not hang around other players/groups to purposefully intim them.
