1. Carnivore Claims
Carnivores may not claim water sources. This includes if they nest next to one. They may not use nesting grounds as a reason to be aggressive in a nesting area (minus hunting for food when needed). You may be aggressive when someone wanders within 2 1.2 rex lengths into your nesting area however, you must warn them with 3 calls and in local before attacking. you must give them 1 minute to leave after aggression before you may attack.
2. Nesting Grounds
Carnivores may challenge other packs for nesting areas. To initiate the rival group must 3 call. The defending herd has 2 choices, 3 call back and fight, or 2, 4, or 5 call and leave. A contest is over when a body drops. The winning party gets the body and nesting grounds
3. Body Claim
Carnivores may only claim 1 player gore at a time, however, may grab as many spawn gores as they wish. Spawn gores do not give protection unless claimed by Scavengers. Carnivores also may not share gores and other resources such as crystals with anyone outside of their group.
4. NO Intim Bombing
Carnivores may not hang around other players/groups to purposefully intim them.
5. What Dinos Are Scavs?
Scavengers include Pachy, Ptera, Tropeo, Velo, and Megaraptor.
6. Legging Gore
These creatures are allowed to leg other players’ PG without 3 calling. The players they stole from have the right to kill them for doing so. The only exception is other scavengers whom you must challenge for gore.
7. Nest Raiding
Scavengers are allowed to snatch eggs, hatchlings and scentless dinos, however, you may only steal 1 at a time. When a scavenger steals an egg, hatchling, or juvi if they choose not to kill and eat it they must return it to their group immediately. Eggs count as a body down and so do hatchlings. Therefore, when you steal and kill an egg or hatchling you must follow hunt and engagement timers.
8. Spawn Gores and Eggs
If a scavenger is on a spawn gore or egg they are protected as if it were a player gore. All dinos must challenge them! (Pure scavenger groups still apply, for example velo and megara when packed together can still claim both for protection). If a scavenger is packed with anything outside of the scavenger category then they are no longer safe on eggs or spawn gores.
