STRIKE SYSTEM
Strike 1 - A verbal warning. Removed after 1 month of good behavior
Strike 2 - A kick/mute depending on circumstances, a kick would only be done on the server not the discord. Removed after 4 months of good behavior
Strike 3 - A 24 hour ban from the server OR a 24 hour mute, Removed after 7 months of good behavior
Strike 4 - A 72 hour ban from the server OR a 72 hour mute. Removed after 10 months of good behavior
Strike 5 - A perma ban from the server. For the discord, you will be restricted to the appeal channel so that after a 12 month period you may appeal your strike 5. These can be removed under special circumstances (Note: can be removed ONCE per member if they promise to re-read the rules. Upon the next rulebreak there is a permanent ban from the server)
Strike 6 - Removed with no chance for appeal
We have a "6 strikes you’re out way" of looking at this. The 5th strike is able to be appealed after a certain amount of time, however, if another rule is broken you receive a 6th strike and are fully removed from the community. When a rule is broken and reported, the member that broke the rules will receive one of the punishments above. A perma ban may be issued, however, after 12 months you may appeal to have it removed. Upon its removal and your return to the server you will have a "Strike 5" Role. If any rule is broken you will regain your perma ban with no chance for an appeal.

Now while strikes can be removed they will stay on record so that we know what has happened in the past even if there is no current strike. This can be used to determine things like applying for staff or if that plus a new rulebreak should be added together depending on severity.
