There was an Old man of The Hague,
Whose ideas were excessively vague.
He built a balloon to examine The Moon.
Which deluded the Old man of The Hague

We ended this module by creating a structure that was similar to our drawings which was inhabitable. We first used toothpick to make small models to understand how does the idea of stacking works incase of materials like bamboo. From the drawing we’ve used the method of scaffolding to make this structure because it wasn’t physically possible to create a pile of objects like we did in the drawings. We wanted to use a material that is strong and easily available and cheap so we chose bamboo. Our final structure is 17.4 feet tall. We’ve used bamboos of 4ft and 6ft.
During this whole process we learnt while working with a scaffolding structure, every member of the structure is essential to hold the structure and that the load is highest at the base, so the bamboos at the base are the ones that have the most weight and are the strongest, to have the loads transfer to the ground safely making it inhabitable, we have anchored the base points into the ground. All members take load and transfer it to the group, so if we were to remove any one member of the structure, the structure will collapse.
