Lodging for ECR Participants
We will be staying at the Resa Campus La Salle Hall of Residence, in an area which stays slightly cooler in high summer and commands lovely views of the city. Check in is at 3:00 pm, but you may leave your bags at the hall of residence earlier in the day. Early check-in may be available from 12 noon.
Getting There from the Main Venue
The Hall of Residence is about one half hour away from the main venue.
There are two public-transport options and almost no difference in journey times. One option is bus V13, usually an articulated double bus. The V13 leaves from Carrer Aribau, just outside the venue; and will drop you off (if travelling to the venue) on Plaça Universitat, facing the main UB building. On your way to the venue you can catch the V13 at Stop 936, just off Pl. Bonanova.
The other option, which entails a longer walk, is the L7 suburban railway line from Avinguda Tibidabo station, itself just ten minutes from the Hall of Residence.
From the Airport
The T2 commuter rail station. If your flight gets into T1, take the free shuttle. It's all very slow but very cheap!
On the cheap, consider getting your transit card at the airport commuter railway station in T2. This will take you be rail to the city's main square and transport hub, Plaça Catalunya, from which you can take the L7 up the hill to the hall of residence. An Uber or taxi should cost you about €30.
