Faculty

ISCOF takes pride in its strong, competent, and dedicated faculty and staff. A total of 241 full-time, permanent faculty employed in five (5) campuses situated in the fourth congressional district of Iloilo. All 241 faculty members are master’s degree holders and 107 (44%) are doctorate degree holders. Out of the figure, 139 (58%) of these are in the board programs (BSED, BEED, BTLED, BPED, BSF, BSAgri) while 102 (42%) are in the non-board programs (BSIT, BSHM, BSMB, BSTM, BS Off Ad, BIT). All faculty under the College of Education are licensed teachers, faculty under the BS Fisheries program are licensed fisheries technologists, and those in the BS Agriculture are licensed agriculturists.


All faculty in the graduate programs have published studies in refereed journal in compliance with CMO No. 15 s. 2019.


To augment the teaching needs based on the recommended number of teaching preparations (maximum of 3), 99 (29% of 340) part-time faculty were hired system-wide for the first semester, AY 2022-2023. All of these are master’s degree holders and handle courses appropriate to their area of specialization.


ISCOF continues to provide programs and activities for faculty’s professional growth and development.
