Task: Action and Sharing of Learning - mid-unit and Question/Wonderings
What you need to do:
- Open your Blog please
- New Post - catchy Title
- Category: PE, Swim, Aquatics
- Write a brief Introduction about the unit so far. (Why did you choose it? What are three things you have learnt so far? What are you hoping to get from this unit?)
- Find your Films - Optional: upload or screenshot a picture to use on your blog. You could create a Gallery or such if you want to add multiple media
- Share your Focus area/s for the unit based on the conversations. This could be dot points or paragraph form.
- Based on the video analysis I decided...
- Looking at my film I noticed...
- My coach and I discussed...
- I would like to focus on... because...
- Use specific Swim Vocabulary where you can. If you aren't sure please ask someone to help you
- Tag your post with three words that sum it up!
- Publish it.

Summative Task: Analysis and Reflection of your Swim Stroke/skills
What you will need to do:
Find your Film 1 (first week) and Film 2 (last week) series. You will need to be able to watch them and make notes.
- If you are comfortable with people seeing your film, save them Dragon's Tube (change privacy settings to appropriate).
- If you are NOT comfortable - take a screenshot so you have a photo to share
On your BLOG
- Catchy Title
- Category: PE or Physical Education, Aquatics
- Tags: 3 words that sum up your post
- Photo/Image/Video
- Introduction about the unit/ this blog post (2-3 sentences max.)
Blog post main body:
- Write a few sentences that explain how it feels or what it means to you when you are swimming - what words could you use to give a vivid imagery to your reader? (consider your five senses - how it feels, looks like, smells like, what you see, what you hear, taste etc) and the emotions you feel as you get to the pool/ go through our lesson and leave the pool again.
- Goal/s you set briefly explained
- Claim/Support/Question.
- Make a Claim about your progress. (stroke technique, skills, understanding and/or development and application of a swim concept etc)
- Support your Claim with evidence/ Justify your Claim using your videos
- So? So What? What Next?
- Ask a follow up Question - what would you still like to know/investigate moving forward
- Summary of your unit
Check spelling, Publish put URL of your blog post to your Teacher through DX task (leave your URL in the Comments)
