Emerging Technology

Project Description

This project is about Virtual Reality vr , an emerging technology used in both work and gaming. The purpose of the project was to research what VR is, why it is important, and how it affects everyday life. It also looks at the advantages, disadvantages, risks, and recent development in VR using academic sources. 

I chose Virtual Reality as my topic because it is becoming more popular and is something i am interested in. Changing how people interact with technology. It is really interesting to me because of its use in gaming, but I also wanted to learn how it is used in workplaces, education, and healthcare. VR is clearly a technology that will grow more in the future. 

One interesting thing I learned is that VR is used for professional training, not just entertainment. For example, doctors and police use VR simulations to practice real life situations safely. This shows how useful VR can be other than gaming. 

As part of this project I created a PowerPoint presentation. It includes slides with information about VR, speak notes that explain the topics, and visuals to help the content. The presentation also includes references from academic sources. 

Through this project, I learned how powerful VR technology is and how it can impact many different areas of life. I also improved my research and presentation skills. One challenge was turning the information into simple small bullet points but it helped me communicate more clearly. Overall, this project helped me better understand both the topic and how to present information in a clear and effective way.
