For this project, I will be describing how social media impacts me and other users around the world.

Social media impact on society

Social media has greatly reshaped society by creating opportunities and complex challenges. It has improved communication allowing for instant connection across the world and creating global communities. Social media platforms have become tools for information allowing news and thoughts to spread rapidly but this widespread connection has also led to concerns about the spread of misinformation and the destruction of privacy.

I picked this image of statistic because it's the most surprising and interesting because you wouldnt expect YouTube to be the most used app. You also realize when looking at this chart that social media is only going to keep growing and becoming more popular.

What have I learned from this lesson

At the end of this lesson, I have learned that social media plays a huge role in everyday lives. Social media is a big source of communication, entertainment, and connection. I also realized how social media is contently growing and improving and is a big chunk of people's lives in today's generation.
