Tony Starks first suit was built in a cave with a box of scrap's after his kidnapping done by the Ten Rings, before Tony's rebrand he was a weapons manufacturer taken to build his high power advanced bombs and weaponry for the terrorist group. With the help of another captive Ho Yinsen (Engineer) Tony would in secret use the Ten Rings resources and help to get materials to build this suit without their knowledge. This would be his first of many suits built from the most limited hardware.
The suit is made from unpainted scrap metal along with pieces from his own Stark Industries Jericho bombs. Specific alloys were utilized to create a bulletproof exterior, with other weaponry disassembled to create this walking tank. The helmet includes no HUD with only eyeholes big enough for visibility and small holes for air circulation around the mouth, the chestpeice was welded from mismatch metal sheets while the lower body portion follow the same formula.
Strength and Durability: This suit dramatically increased Tony's weight capacity to hold the suit and defeat the armed terrorist, powered by an electric motor the suit gave Tony the ability to escape while making Tony less susceptible to incoming bullets and the impact from the ground when he escaped.
Flight: While the suit was unable to hover or have controlled air movement, the suit could propel itself in a single direction allowing for Tonys escape through single fire rocket thrusters located on the back of each leg.
The original suit was lost to the sand when it deconstructed in Tony's escape landing. Remnents were recovered by Obadiah Stane to create an "Improved" suit to fight Tony in Iron Man (2008) .
Tony created an official reconstructed suit (Suit to the farthest left) to put in his workshop in the "Hall of Armory" showcasing his suits and designs. Marking the first suit Tony created.
