JCLC also known as Junior Cadet Leadership Camp, is a camp hosted by All American 4th Brigade Cadet Command, the camp usually takes place in Virginia Tech or Fort AP Hill.
JCLC consists of multiple events the cadets will experience such as rappelling, the ropes course, the drown proof test, and the hardest day, which consists of archery, rifle marksmanship, and rope bridge all in one day. The cadet will experience hardships, but with perseverance he or she will become one of the many graduates of JCLC.
The cadet will have multiple leadership opportunities in JCLC, such as being the 1SG of a company, Company Commander of a company, Platoon Sergeant, or Squad Leader. After the Change of Command which happens every day of JCLC, they will be listed as mentors.
If a cadet graduates from JCLC they will have better leadership experience and will have a better chance of having a leadership position in the Ironhawk Battalion, not only will this camp strengthen comradery, it will give the cadet a chance to interact with cadets from other units
