IRERS 2026 is pleased to announce that selected papers will be published in the Scopus-indexed journal, Planning Malaysia Journal.

This offers an excellent opportunity for authors to gain international recognition and contribute to the growing body of scholarly literature in real estate, valuation, and urban studies.

IRERS 2026 CALL FOR PAPERS

The 13th International Real Estate Research Symposium (IRERS 2026) is a premier platform that brings together researchers, academicians, industry practitioners, policymakers, and postgraduate students to discuss, share, and explore the future of real estate in the digital era.

With the theme “Reshaping Real Estate: Innovation and Inclusivity in a Digital World,” IRERS 2026 aims to highlight how digital transformation, sustainability, and inclusivity are redefining real estate development, investment, valuation, and governance in today’s dynamic environment. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts, engage in scholarly discussions, and present research papers that reflect innovation, creativity, and forward-thinking strategies in the property sector.

Researchers, academicians, practitioners, postgraduate students, industry players, and policymakers are invited to submit research or industry papers reporting on issues related to real estate, including (but not limited to) the following areas:

Real Estate & Urban Development – Affordability, regeneration, co-working spaces.
Digitalisation & PropTech – Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT).
Valuation & Investment – New methods, REITs, financing, renewable assets.
Sustainability & ESG – Green buildings, circular economy, climate resilience, inclusive housing.
Land & Governance – Digital land information systems, property law, AI ethics, policy.
Smart Cities & Inclusivity – Inclusive design, planning, and social equity.
Other relevant topics aligned with the theme are welcome.

IRERS 2026 provides an excellent opportunity to network with industry experts, gain publication potential in Scopus-indexed journals, and compete for the Best Paper Award. Accepted papers will also be included in the ISBN conference proceedings, ensuring global visibility and recognition.

Those interested in submitting their papers may submit abstracts of approximately 300 words each. Abstracts should come with the complete names(s) and organisation(s) of the author(s), key words and contact details.
