The 13th International Real Estate Research Symposium (IRERS 2026) is an established international platform for policy-relevant discourse, applied research, and professional engagement in the field of real estate and the built environment.
The symposium serves as a structured forum that brings together government agencies, academic institutions, industry practitioners and professional bodies to deliberate on current and emerging issues affecting real estate markets, valuation practice, urban development, land governance, and related policy frameworks.
IRERS 2026 is organised by the National Institute of Valuation (INSPEN), the training, research and academic arm of the Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH), under the Ministry of Finance Malaysia. Through its successive editions, IRERS has supported informed decision-making by facilitating the exchange of empirical findings, professional perspectives, and policy considerations at both national and international levels.
